Norfolk: Financial Manager
In 2001, before False Profit, LLC was False Profit, LLC, a group of 10 people moved to 43 Norfolk Street. We needed, among other things, a way to keep track of who owed who money, a way to record the payment of rent and utilities, and a way to make the monthly process of settling up easy.
To solve this problem, I created the Norfolk Household Financial Manager. It’s not any kind of example of good coding practices or good web software design, but it has worked well enough for 8 years (at the time of this writing) that we use it for our household accounting.
